The Boulder Mountain Zendo's urban center


          BMZ's City Center is an urban center where both Zen and Integral are studied and practiced. Convenient to TRAX light rail, the center is in the ArtSpace building, Suite 155, 230 South 500 West, located about 100 feet south of the "Old Greek Town" stop in downtown Salt Lake City.

 

Weekly Sitting and Program Schedule

Morning sitting (M – F):                  7:00 to 7:35 am, 7:45 to 8:15 am            

Evening sitting:

         Monday:                                  6:00 to 6:45 pm, 6:55 to 7:30 pm

         Thursday:                               6:00 to 6:45 pm

Tuesday Evening Samu:                6:30 to 7:30 pm (work practice in Zendo)

Tuesday Night Class:                     7:30 to 9:00 pm

Sunday Sit and Dharma Talk:        4:15 pm sitting, 5:00 p.m. talk

    

          All parking spaces in the front of the building are reserved; park in the lot to the south or on the street.  Towing is strictly enforced, so please do not park in front of the building.

          Please be in the zendo five minutes before the scheduled start of a sitting or class.  If you have difficulty getting into the building, call the zendo at 801-532-4975.

          BMZ Cty Center offers Zen Buddhist study and practice with transmitted teachers. It also sponsors workshops grounded in the work of integral philosopher Ken Wilber.  The center sees a deep congruence between Integral philosophy and Buddhist practice. The study and practice program is designed to appeal to a broad audience.
